Motorist shooting trial set week before church shooting case

<p>HANOVER TWP. &#8211; Police have charged a Plains woman with taking part in the theft of almost $300 from Family Dollar last week.</p><p>Police said Maria Darlena Maslar, 61, was involved in the June 16 theft of $294 in cash from the Carey Avenue store. Police said that Maslar waited outside in a Pontiac Sedan as a getway driver for Shandell Moore, the alleged thief.</p><p>Maslar was arraigned before a district judge on a charge of conspiracy to commit theft, and was lodged in the Luzerne County Correctional Facility in lieu of $20,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. July 12.</p><style>
