HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — The owner of a bankrupt payroll firm in central Pennsylvania has been held for trial on charges he stole $5.7 million from clients. PennLive.com reports (http://bit.ly/28U4Ope ) 43-year-old William Sullivan Jr. was held for court Thursday on charges that include access device fraud and theft. Authorities say the Harrisburg man used clients' payroll tax payments for his own use, paying for vehicles, vacations to Puerto Rico and home renovations. State prosecutors say Sullivan's Harrisburg-based Net Pay Solutions Inc. processed payrolls for more than 200 businesses around the country. Investigators say the company filed for bankruptcy relief in 2011 and there was $5.3 million in unpaid payroll taxes for 266 clients.
