PHILADELPHIA &#8212; Two Philadelphia-area businesses, connected to a case regarding the financial backing of Ashley&#8217;s Huber Breaker site, are being compelled to appear after a subpoena and several unsuccessful attempts to contact the owners have been made.The court order, given on June 21, orders representatives for Boylan &amp; Sons LLC, of Newtown Square, and Southern Convert Trucking Inc. (SCT), of Clifton Heights, to appear and testify at depositions in Philadelphia or be held in contempt of court.The original suit, filed in Pennsylvania&#8217;s Eastern District in September 2014, claims Reivia Ashley LLC loaned owners of Paselo Logistics LLC $1.275 million to buy the 25-acre property.Reivia accuses Paselo of stealing money and scrap metal from the former coal processing site.The court documents show the plaintiff, Reivia Ashley LLC, wants to see all transactions between Paselo Logistics LLC and Boylan &amp; Sons, deliveries by Boylan &amp; Sons to and from the site in Ashley, details for shipment of materials to and from the Ashley site and payments to the owners of Paselo Logistcs LLC, Pasquale Scalleat, Angelo Franco and Maria Scalleat.In a separate subpoena, the plaintiff wants to see transactions between Paselo and SCT, deliveries and driver logs to Ashley, shipment of materials to and from the the Ashley site, documents evidencing, referring or relating of the purchase of scrap metal from Paselo or owners and contracts, checks, statements and purchase orders for the materials, including scrap metal, from Paselo or owners.According to court documents, Southern Convert Trucking Inc. has been held in contempt of court for this case before.
