Stephen Stahl ordered to file Wilkes-Barre Area complaint or dismiss suit

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins signed defenseman Michael Webster on Monday to an American Hockey League contract for the 2016-17 season.Webster joins the Penguins organization after four seasons with the Barrie Colts in the Ontario Hockey League. Webster is coming off a career season, during which he set personal bests for goals (9), assists (35) and points (44) in a year. The Toronto, Ont. native also served as captain of the Colts in 2015-16.Webster was twice nominated for the OHL&#8217;s Dan Snyder Memorial Trophy for outstanding community service, and he was the 2016 recipient of the Mickey Renaud Captain&#8217;s Trophy, awarded annually to the team captain in the OHL that most exemplifies the attributes of leadership on the ice, in the locker room and in the community.The 21-year-old concludes his OHL career having racked up 95 points (18G-77A) in 254 games.NOTES- In other moves, Pittsburgh re-signed defenseman Tim Erixon to a one-year, two-way contract. The veteran defenseman spent all of last season with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, posting three goals and 20 points in 65 games. He added six points in 10 playoff contests.- Pittsburgh also extended a qualifying offer to forward Dominik Uher, who has already signed with a club in Europe. The move allows Pittsburgh to retain Uher&#8217;s rights if he returns to North America. Uher was the longest-tenured player on the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton roster last season, having spent the last four years with the club.
