One-time volunteer firefighter to face child abuse charges in county court

<p>The International League&#8217;s top team will be well-represented in the Triple-A All-Star Game.</p><p>Outfielder Ben Gamel, pitcher Chad Green, outfielder Aaron Judge and catcher Gary Sanchez have all been elected to the IL squad for next month&#8217;s game against the Pacific Coast League all-stars, the league announced Wednesday.</p><p>The four selections &#8212; chosen from a vote by managers, general managers, media and fans &#8212; are the most from any IL squad among the 13 total picks. The final roster will be 30 players for the game, which will be played at 7 p.m. on July 13 in Charlotte, North Carolina.</p><p>Gamel, the 2015 IL Rookie of the Year, is hitting .293 with 18 extra-base hits and a team-best 12 stolen bases. He has also seen his numbers spike in June.</p><p>Green is one of the league&#8217;s top arms thus far, leading the IL with a 1.54 ERA and ranking second in WHIP (0.98). He has allowed just 19 runs and 19 walks while striking out 82 in 81 2/3 innings.</p><p>Judge owns the top home run mark in the league through June with 16. The big man also has 46 RBI and is second in the IL with 140 total bases for a slugging percentage of .490.</p><p>Rounding out the group is Sanchez, who is tied for fourth in the IL with Judge in slugging while hitting .280 with eight homers and 32 RBI.</p><p>MLB Network will carry the game broadcast live.</p><style>
