<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; A man charged in the attempted homicide of a Pittston woman found naked with a slit throat last year will remain behind bars on a half-million dollars bail, according to a judge&#8217;s ruling.</p><p>Nygee Jamal Taylor, 26, last known address of Scott Street, Wilkes-Barre, faces criminal homicide, aggravated assault and related charges after he and two others allegedly stripped and beat Dayna Williams before cutting her throat and leaving her for dead in a wooded area of Bear Creek Township in October 2014.</p><p>The incident allegedly stemmed from a spat over a missing cell phone.</p><p>Luzerne County Judge David W. Lupas on Wednesday denied a motion to reduce Taylor&#8217;s bail, which had been set at $500,000 since <a href="https://www.timesleader.com/news/371879/attempted-homicide-suspect-returned-to-luzerne-county-from-ny" target="_blank">his extradition from New York state last July</a>.</p><p>Taylor and co-defendant Jerone Andre Moore, 32, of Wilkes-Barre, are slated to stand trial in September.</p><p>A third co-defendant, Chloe Amelia Isaacs, 22, is <a href="https://www.timesleader.com/news/local/544625/plea-anticipated-for-wilkes-barre-woman-accused-of-kidnapping-assault-over-missing-cell-phone" target="_blank">expected to enter a plea</a> in the case on Monday. She is charged with kidnapping, unlawful restraint, simple assault, reckless endangerment and false imprisonment.</p><p>According to the criminal complaints, Williams, 22, was found wandering the area of Aleeda Road naked and bloodied, with a three-inch gash from her throat to her ear.</p><p>She was allegedly picked up hours earlier by Isaacs, of Wilkes-Barre, and driven to a residence on Hancock Street, where she was stripped, bound and beaten with clubs before a group of people put a bag over her head and placed her in a barrel, where she was kept for hours, according to the complaint.</p><p>After dark, Williams was stashed in the trunk of a vehicle and driven to a secluded area of Bear Creek Township, the complaint says. Moore allegedly cut her throat as Taylor told him, &#8220;You better do this (expletive) right.&#8221;</p><style>
