<p>HANOVER TWP. &#8212; A Mountain Top woman has been arrested in conjunction with the recent rash of car break ins in the township.</p><p>According to a press release, police charged Dakota Antar Barnes, 23, with six counts of theft from motor vehicles Thursday with District Judge Joseph Halesey.</p><p>Police were investigating thefts which occurred overnight Monday into Tuesday <a href="https://www.timesleader.com/news/local/562560/police-thefts-from-vehicles-reported-overnight-monday-in-hanover-township" target="_blank">around the Lyndwood and Breslau sections of the township.</a> Township police credited the public and the Hanover Township Crime Watch for helping to capture the suspect.</p><p>Court records show Barnes was also charged with six counts of receiving stolen property and one count of loitering at night.</p><p>According to court records, Barnes has a lengthy history with thefts in Luzerne County and <a href="https://www.timesleader.com/news/380494/prostitution-arrests-in-wilkes-barre" target="_blank">was arrested in September</a> 2015 for prostitution.</p><style>
