LANCASTER, Pa. (AP) — A police chief says it's "reasonable" to conclude a man found dead in his central Pennsylvania home shot himself after setting the residence on fire. But until an autopsy Friday it's not possible to say whether 46-year-old John Kroplesky died from the gunshot or the fire and resulting explosions in his West Hempfield Township home. Chief Mark Pugliese says Kroplesky was found dead after fire and explosions — fueled by a propane tank and some paint cans in the attached garage — destroyed his home in the Lancaster suburbs about 3 a.m. Wednesday. Kropelsky was unemployed, behind on his rent and due to be evicted later that day. Kropelsky's body was found in an upstairs bedroom with a single gunshot wound.
