<p>HAZLETON &#8212; The man killed in <a href="https://www.timesleader.com/news/564037/shooting-and-three-vehicle-accident-in-hazleton-leaves-residents-wondering">a shooting Saturday night</a> has been identified.</p><p>Officials from the Luzerne County Coroner&#8217;s Office identified the deceased as Gregory Newton, 29, of Hazle Township. The cause of the death is multiple gunshot wounds, and the manner of death is homicide.</p><p>At 10:45 p.m. Saturday, gunfire in the vicinity of First and Seybert streets in Hazleton resulted in suspects fleeing the scene, which led to a crash at the intersection of Seybert Street and East Diamond Avenue, Police Chief Jerry Speziale said.</p><p>Published reports indicate Christian Ferman Rosado, 26, of 220 E. Hemlock St., was arraigned on gun and theft charges in relation to the incident before Magisterial District Judge Joseph Zola, Sunday afternoon.</p><p>According to the criminal complaint, officers located Newton in the area of First and Seybert streets, as well as a vehicle crash 200 yards west at the intersection of Diamond and Seybert streets. Police allege one of the vehicles was a white Honda owned by Roasdo, and had a large amount of blood both inside and outside.</p><p>Police also discovered multiple blood trails in the area, as well as several spent .40 caliber casings.</p><p>Several hours after the alleged shooting, police were notified of a gunshot patient at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center. Speziale and another officer responded to the medical facility, and identified the victim as Rosado.</p><p>Rosado agreed to speak with investigators, and allegedly admitted to firing approximately four gunshots at Newton and fleeing the scene, causing the vehicle crash. Rosado also allegedly admitted to discarding the firearm used in the alleged shooting.</p><p>Saturday&#8217;s shooting was the first of two in a 24-hour period.</p><p>Rosado is being held at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility on $250,000 straight bail.</p><style>
