Our Opinion: GOP’s convention must go beyond mere pep rally

<p>The Sunbury Daily Item website has identified the 8 year old who apparently drowned at Knoebels Amusement Park Friday as Yassin Boudriss, of Lebanon.</p><p>The amusement park reported on its Facebook page Saturday night that &#8220;a young boy was found unresponsive by a lifeguard&#8221; at Crystal pool. The lifeguard immediately began emergency care and the boy was transported to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.</p><p>&#8220;The Knoebel family and team members had been hoping and praying for the best possible outcome, but are saddened to have learned from local authorities that the young boy has passed away,&#8221; the post said. &#8220;Please join us in keeping the boy&#8217;s family in your prayers.&#8221;</p><p>The Daily Item website reported the boy was found at 3 p.m. and later declared dead at Geisinger, according to Montour County Coroner Scott Lynn.
