PENN HILLS, Pa. (AP) — Authorities in western Pennsylvania say a man died of injuries after a dirt bike crash in the Pittsburgh suburb of Penn Hills. Penn Hills police said 48-year-old Chester Gaunt and his 14-year-old son were riding in the Gascola slag dump area. Chief Howard Burton said Gaunt swerved to avoid a collision with a 17-year-old riding a dirt bike in the opposite direction, and both riders crashed. The Allegheny County medical examiner's office said Gaunt was taken to Forbes Hospital in Monroeville, where he was pronounced dead at about 5 p.m. Saturday. An autopsy is planned. The other rider broke an arm and was taken to a hospital. Penn Hills police are investigating the accident.
