Woman faces charges after striking and kicking police

Lackawanna County restaurant inspections, July 1-12: ‘Out of compliance’ hard to find among these eateries

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; A man was cited for public drunkenness early Sunday morning when his driver brought him to the police station.</p><p>Police said at approximately 12:26 a.m., a local transportation company driver dropped off Franklin Valera, 33, after he alarmed the driver to the point he wanted Valera out of the van. Officers deemed Valera to be highly intoxicated, according to police.</p><style>
