YORK, Pa. (AP) — A woman has been charged in the death of her toddler last month in central Pennsylvania. Authorities in York County said 3-year-old Isabel Godfrey died June 8 at York Hospital after being found unresponsive in her Thomasville home. The county coroner's office said the child died of multiple injuries but declined to release details. Northern York County Regional Police said last month that she had numerous bruises and several deep bite marks on her torso. Coroner Pam Gay said the definition of homicide was death at the hands of another, "and there's no way (the child) did this to herself." Thirty-year-old Regina Lester of Thomasville is charged with criminal homicide, child endangerment and terroristic threats. Defense attorneys listed in court documents for Lester didn't immediately return calls seeking comment Saturday.
