Dallas High School football team helps Dallas Rotary Club

<p>The Newport Township American Legion Auxiliary Unit 539 held a hygiene/comfort collection for the veterans at the Wilkes-Barre VA Hospital. Items were collected from the Holy Spirit Parish, employees of the State Correctional Institute at Dallas and the Women&#8217;s Activity Group of Glen Lyon with approximately 17 boxes and eight 50 gallon bags presented to Lisa Schlosser, coordinator of volunteer services at the VA Hospital. At the presentation, from left, are: Al Chesney, Legion member and president&#8217;s assistant; Janet Wenner, vice president of Unit 539 and Lorrie Materewicz, president of Unit 539.</p><style>
