<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; According to a citywide crime report prepared by the Wilkes-Barre Police Department&#8217;s CompStat program, the city saw 76 violent crimes in the first six months of 2016.</p><p>The report shows that between the first of the year and the end of June, there were 35 aggravated assaults, 33 robberies, seven rapes and one homicide. Geographically, there have been repeated offenses on Hazle Street, Poplar Street, Lincoln Plaza and Carey Avenue.
