<p>Stephanie Falvo, RD, LDN, of Scranton, has been named director of food services at Allied Services Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center. Prior to accepting her new role, Falvo served as the nutrition and dietary manager at the 371-bed skilled nursing facility.</p><p>In her new role, Falvo is responsible for meeting regulatory standards and overseeing the varied dietary needs of both long- and short-term residents, including patients served by therespiratory unit, Alzheimer&#8217;s program, and short-term pulmonary rehab program.</p><p>Margy Fiscus, of Scranton, has been named director of vocational services. Fiscus brings more than 30 years of experience in health and human services to her new role. Her new responsibilities include oversight of all facets of Allied Services&#8217; Community Employment Program, the William Warren Work Services Facility, and the Adult Day Program.</p><p>Throughout her career at Allied Services, Fiscus has been instrumental in developing therapeutic and recreational programs for individuals served by the Adult Day Program. In 2013 she received the Advocacy Award from the Mid-Atlantic Regional Chapter of the American Music Therapy Association. She is co-chair of the Human Rights Committee for the Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/ID). Fiscus also serves on the non-profit&#8217;s Corporate Ethics Committee and Safety Committee.</p><p>Lisa Povilitus, of Olyphant, has been named program manager of the Adult Day Program. In her new role, Povilitus will oversee the clinical and supervisory staff, along with delivering services to individuals with severe intellectual disabilities.</p><p>Povilitus joined Allied Services in 1997 as a call-in for the Adult Day Program. She later became a full-time supervisor of the Senior Program and, in 2000, earned the certification of Qualified Individuals with Disabilities Professional. Her responsibilities included acting as a liaison between Allied Services, outside agencies, guardians, families, regulatory bodies and behavior management.</p><style>
