SUNBURY, Pa. (AP) — Authorities say they suspect a drug overdose may have caused the deaths of a man and woman in a central Pennsylvania home. The Northumberland County coroner's office identified the couple Saturday as 33-year-old Lena Yost and 30-year-old Eric Maurer. Chief Deputy Coroner James Gotlob pronounced them dead in their Sunbury home just before 3 p.m. Friday. Investigators are awaiting the results of toxicology tests in determining a cause of death for what emergency medical personnel at first thought was carbon monoxide poisoning. Administrative Police Chief Timothy Miller said the two had obtained 90 pills of a prescription medication earlier in the day, and only five remained in the bottle. Miller said investigators are looking at the possibility that they consumed the pills with heroin.
