<p>National Weather Service indicates that while the heat will remain in Wyoming Valley, the sun might not.</p><p>Friday will be mostly sunny and reach a high of 84 degrees. Isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected after 2 p.m., however. The highest threat of rain will come after midnight, with the chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms at 40 percent.</p><p>Showers and thunderstorms are likely to continue Saturday morning, mainly before 2 p.m. Clouds will hover for the rest of the day with temperatures reaching a high of 85 degrees. Saturday night will cool down with a low of 62 degrees.</p><p>Not all hope for fun weekend plans are lost, as the sun is expected to return Sunday, with an expected high of 83 degrees.</p><style>
