<p>The Rotary Club of Mountain Top thanks everyone who helped with its 2016 Steam Train Excursion.</p><p>The fundraiser was a huge success, with more than 545 passengers on board for our trip to historic Jim Thorpe. We especially thank our presenting sponsor, DBI, and our train car sponsors: Century 21 Smith-Hourigan Group, Orloski&#8217;s Car Wash, Cavanaugh&#8217;s Grille, Benchmark Mortgage, Mountaintop Chiropractic, Mohegan Sun Pocono and Zodiac Printing.</p><p>Thank you also to all our advertising partners: the Citizens&#8217; Voice, Lamar Billboards, Mountain Peaks, the Mountaintop Eagle and the Times Leader.</p><p>Many thanks to the Mountain Top Hose Co. No. 1 for assisting with parking. Thanks to the bus drivers who did a great job getting everyone back and forth safely. Special thanks to the Fairview Township Police for assisting with traffic.</p><p>We, of course, thank all of our passengers and train personnel. Everyone did an amazing job of cooperating before, during and after the trip.</p><p>Proceeds from this fundraiser will go back into the local community in many ways.
