Kelsey Kolojejchick reaches milestone as USA field hockey wins again in Rio

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Grammy Award-winning country fusion band The Mavericks perform at 8 p.m. Dec. 8 at the <a href="https://www.timesleader.com/features/556949/blues-pioneer-buddy-guy-comes-to-f-m-kirby-center-in-wilkes-barre" target="_blank">F.M. Kirby Center</a>, 71 Public Square, as part of their &#8220;Sleigh Bells Ring Out!&#8221; Christmas tour.</p><p>Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Aug. 12, and are available through the Kirby Center box office, by phone at 570-826-1100 and online at www.kirbycenter.org. A pre-sale for Kirby members begins at 10 a.m. Aug. 10 through the same outlets.</p><p>Since the early &#8217;90s, The Mavericks have earned critical acclaim for their marriage of traditional country and rock and roll. Fronted by singer/songwriter Raul Malo, the group has charted Top-40 singles with &#8220;O What a Thrill&#8221; and &#8220;There Goes My Heart.&#8221;</p><p>After a number of gold and platinum certified albums and world tours, The Mavericks had a resurgence in 2013 with their well-received album &#8220;In Time.&#8221;</p><p>Their latest studio effort, &#8220;Mono,&#8221; was released in February 2015.</p><p>Ticket prices for the Mavericks&#8217; holiday show range from $35 to $69 plus fees.</p><style>
