Gurzynski achieved Eagle Scout status

<p>Jeff Bachman, a recent graduate from Pittston Area High School and Hughestown resident, was this years recipient of the Hughestown Lions Club scholarship awards. Each year the Lions Club presents scholarships to a student or students from Pittston Area High School that reside in Hughestown and are college bound. The scholarships available through the Hughestown Lions Club are the Clarence Hensley Scholarship, the Jerry Chilipko Scholarship and the Dale J. Kridlo Scholarship.
