<p>&#8220;Supergirl: The Complete First Season,&#8221; 2.5 stars: The series struggled its first year because it didn&#8217;t fit the traditional mold of a CBS series. The network &#8212; whose viewers on average are older than the planet Krypton &#8212; tends to launch the kind of procedural dramas that the core audience loves.</p><p>Along comes &#8220;Supergirl.&#8221; Not only is the comic book genre aimed at young viewers, but Supergirl is the youngest of all the heroes fighting crime these days on all TV services.</p><p>Because the series tried to appease both audiences the first year, it struggled. But, the show gets new life as it moves to the CW Network, home of several comic book-inspired shows.</p><p>You can catch up on the first season with the DVD set that includes 20 episodes, plus special features and a gag reel.</p><p>&#8220;Addicted to Fresno,&#8221; 1.5 stars: If &#8220;Addicted to Fresno&#8221; were a narcotic, it would be a baby aspirin. The film, about sisters who clean rooms at a Fresno hotel, isn&#8217;t dark enough to have the kind of creepy punch that would make it comically addictive. It&#8217;s more of a comic placebo.</p><p>The generally annoying Judy Greer and the under-appreciated Natasha Lyonne play sisters Shannon and Martha. Shannon is a sex addict who has moved back to Fresno to live with her sister while going through rehab. Martha is the level-headed one who has spent her whole life taking care of members of the family.</p><p>Other than a couple of good performances, the only thing &#8220;Addicted to Fresno&#8221; has going for it is the novelty of the setting. Don&#8217;t watch it looking to see a lot of Fresno landmarks because the movie was filmed in Los Angeles. Kennedy.</p><p>&#8220;The Tunnel&#8221;: Death of a French politician in the middle of the Channel Tunnel is investigated.</p><p>&#8220;Baskin&#8221;: Cops get more than they expected in a small town.</p><p>&#8220;Scooby-Doo and WWE: Curse of the Speed Demon&#8221;: The squad faces another chilling adventure.</p><p>&#8220;Parched&#8221;: Three rural Indian women question the ancient traditions that hold them in servitude.</p><p>&#8220;A Monster with a Thousand Heads&#8221;: Woman faces the frustration of fighting those who live behind red tape.</p><p>&#8220;The First Monday in May&#8221;: Follows creation of The Metropolitan Museum of Art&#8217;s &#8220;China: Through The Looking Glass.&#8221;</p><p>&#8220;NCIS: New Orleans&#8221;: Scott Bakula stars in this series set in the Big Easy.</p><p>&#8220;Code Black&#8221;: CBS medical drama starring Marcia Gay Harden.</p><p>&#8220;Fathers and Daughters&#8221;: Russell Crowe and Amanda Seyfried star in this story of love and loss.</p><style>
