Letter to the Editor: Expand support for Pennsylvania’s grandparents who are raising grandkids

Marywood faculty takes unionization effort to NLRB

<p>All summer long, we, as drivers of Rinehimer Bus Co., have tried to get through to the Crestwood School Board&#8217;s members not to put the lives of our children in the hands of a seemingly unprepared bus company, Mountain Top Bus Co.</p><p>Some drivers will not have their clearances and proper paperwork at the start of the school year, but the company&#8217;s acting operations manager reportedly said he&#8217;s not worried about that. I sure am.</p><p>We refuse to drive for Mountain Top Bus Co. because we had years of dealing with its owner. He then was the accountant for Rinehimer Bus Lines when it was owned by the Deets family. </p><p>We have done all we can as drivers; now it is up to you, as the parents of our district&#8217;s children and as taxpayers, to voice your opinion and concern. Time is running out. Attend the Aug. 18 board meeting at Crestwood High School.</p><p><strong>Pattie Ostrowski</strong></p><p>Dorrance Township</p><style>
