Police charge woman in boyfriend's beating over 6 days

SHENANGO TOWNSHIP, Pa. (AP) — Police say human remains buried in a shallow grave have been uncovered western Pennsylvania. The Youngstown Vindicator reports (http://bit.ly/2b0n5x0 ) that Pennsylvania State Police got a search warrant for a 35-acre property in Shenango Township after receiving a tip that someone had been buried there. Police said Thursday that the remains have been sent to Erie for an autopsy and that a forensic anthropologist was at the property. Police say stolen firearms and other items found on the property could be tied to burglaries in the Lawrence and Mercer County areas.
