1 dead, others treated after lightning strike at lake

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Police say a 16-year-old youth sitting in a car in northeast Philadelphia was shot in the back and killed. A police spokeswoman said the shooting was reported just before 2 p.m. Sunday in Kensington. Police said the youth was taken by police to Temple Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead before 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Police said no weapon was recovered and no arrests were immediately made.
