California wildfire brings destruction and uncertainty

<p>Rachel Bogart Coates, of Berwick, and G. Jonathan Greenwald, of McLean, Va. and a member of the Wyoming Seminary Class of 1960, have been elected as new members of the Board of Trustees of the Wyoming Seminary College Preparatory School to serve for the 2016-17 school year.</p><p>Coates serves as the president of the Lower School Parents Association. She is the founder and initial owner of the Wind-n-Sea Spa in Bloomsburg, a full-service spa she operated from 1996 to 2014.</p><p>She also has served as an active volunteer at Wyoming Seminary Lower School and as secretary of the Lower School Parents Association for two years, prior to her election as president of the association.</p><p>A native of the Wyoming Valley, Greenwald serves as vice president of the International Crisis Group (ICG) and is a veteran Foreign Service officer and former official in the State Department&#8217;s Office of Counter-Terrorism.</p><p>A graduate of Princeton University and the Harvard Law School, he has written extensively on foreign policy issues and is the author of the 1993 book, &#8220;Berlin Witness: An American Diplomat&#8217;s Chronicle of East Germany&#8217;s Revolution.&#8221;</p><style>
