<p>NESCOPECK &#8212; Pennsylvania State Police say a 3-year-old girl whose alleged abduction sparked an Amber Alert Friday morning was later found safe in New York.</p><p>State Police in Shicksinny had said they believed Ava Byrne, 3, had been abducted by Robert Byrne, 34. After the girl, who was last seen around 12:20 a.m. on Vine Street in Nescopeck, was reported missing, police issued a statewide Ambert Alert and indicated they believed Robert Byrne had fled with the girl in a silver Hyundai Elantra.</p><p>State Police reported on their Facebook page around 2:30 p.m. that both the girl and her alleged abductor had been found. According to a subsequent news release, the pair was found in Queens, New York.</p><p>Court records show that police on Friday charged Robert Byrne in two different criminal cases, both of which include misdemeanor counts of simple assault and making terroristic threats. Both cases were listed as &#8220;inactive&#8221; in the state&#8217;s online court docket system as of 4:20 p.m.</p><p><strong>Check back later at timesleader.com for more information.</strong></p><style>
