Pittsburgh-area man's body in nearby county 'homicide'

PITTSBURGH (AP) — Jury deliberations were entering a fourth day Friday for a woman charged in the death of her 3-year-old daughter, whose body was found in a western Pennsylvania ravine last year. Twenty-seven-year-old Adrienne Williams is charged in Allegheny County in the June 2015 death of Adrionna Williams. Prosecutors said the girl was asphyxiated and left in a wooded area in Swissvale. Jurors asked the judge to re-explain several legal concepts on Wednesday then on Thursday, passed a note saying they may be at an impasse "due to arguments being made without factual support." Williams told police she dropped the girl off at her grandmother's house and went to work, but prosecutors say surveillance video and cellphone records show she drove to and from the spot where the girl's body was found.
