With photos, video CHILD ABUSE UNDATED — Pennsylvania saw a huge increase in the number of reported cases of child abuse last year, the first full year for a package of laws that, among other things, expanded the definition of child abuse and increased the number of adults required to report it. The Senate passed the bill in May by voice vote despite the strident objections from Saudi Arabia, a key U.S. ally in the Middle East. Fifteen of the 19 hijackers were Saudi nationals.
