Orthopedic surgeon joins Orthopaedic Consultants in Kingston

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Cherise Williams has joined Commonwealth Health as a cardiothoracic surgery nurse practitioner at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.</p><p>Williams is a licensed practical nurse and holds an associate&#8217;s degree in nursing from Midlands Technical College, Columbia, S. C., and a bachelor&#8217;s degree in nursing from Lander University, Greenwood, S. C. She graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN with a master of science degree in nursing. She previously worked at the University of California as a cardiothoracic surgery nurse practitioner.</p><p>Williams is a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Emergency Nurses Association and American Association of Critical Care Nurses.</p><style>
