DRUMS, Pa. (AP) — A Pennsylvania language arts teacher has been accused of colliding with a motorcycle while driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, leaving a motorcyclist with back and hip injuries. The Times Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/2d7LmTa ) police say Kathleen Beltrami collided with the motorcycle earlier this month on state Route 309, about 30 miles southwest of Scranton. Court documents say the 54-year-old Drums Elementary/Middle School teacher was found unresponsive at the foot of a stairwell in her garage. She had a blood-alcohol content of 0.23 percent. Beltrami faces charges including driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, aggravated assault by vehicle and accidents involving death or personal injury.
