<p>AVOCA &#8212; A Duryea man is facing charges after he allegedly boarded a school bus and threatened students after being told his granddaughter was being bullied.</p><p>Police said Christopher McCauley, 41, of Main Street, Duryea, was arrested by the Avoca Police Department Wednesday for boarding a school bus at the intersection of Plane and Main Streets after receiving a call from his granddaughter, who claimed she was being bullied and written-up for allegedly standing on the bus.</p><p>McCauley allegedly boarded the bus, shouted obscenities at the students and the bus driver. Before exiting the bus, McCauley threatened to shoot the bus driver and the student bus monitor if his granddaughter &#8220;continues to be bullied,&#8221; according to the police report.</p><p>The news released stated Avoca Police interviewed several students and witnesses, who reported McCauley&#8217;s granddaughter was &#8220;written up&#8221; for standing up on a moving bus and refusing to sit.</p><p>McCauley was charged with two counts of terroristic threats and unauthorized entry to school bus.</p><p>McCauley was arraigned and jailed in the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $10,000 bail.</p><style>
