<p>Eric Mahler has been named the president of the Advisory Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bridge.</p><p>Mahler, 45, has been a member of the Big Brothers Big Sisters Advisory Board since 2008. He has served as chairman of the board&#8217;s Fund and Finance Committee and has been actively involved in the agency&#8217;s annual &#8220;Bowl For Kids&#8217; Sake&#8221; fundraiser. His term as Advisory Board president will continue for two years.</p><p>Mahler is the owner and managing partner the Mahler Law Firm LLC in Forty Fort. He attended Wyoming Seminary in Kingston for two years and then transferred to Germantown Academy in Philadelphia, where he graduated. He is also a graduate of North Carolina State University, where he received a degree in engineering. He attended law school at Widener University in Harrisburg. In addition to his work with Big Brothers Big Sisters, he serves as a swim coach at the Wilkes-Barre YMCA and serves on the advisory board of the Salvation Army. He is a parishioner at St. Jude&#8217;s Church in Mountain Top. He and his wife, Rose, have two children, Adam, 16, and Emily, 14. They live in Nuangola.</p><style>
