‘Chase’ chosen as name for Wilkes-Barre’s new K9; contest winner also named

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Police have charged a woman with public intoxication and harassment following a dispute with a family member.</p><p>Police said that at 3:39 a.m. Friday, officers responded to a civil matter between Malinda Chandler, 28, and a family member in the Sherman Hills apartment complex.</p><p>Police allege Chandler came outside her apartment while heavily intoxicated and began yelling and screaming. Chandler allegedly refused to go back into the apartment, and police issued her a citation for public intoxication.</p><p>Police also allege Chandler slapped another woman during the dispute, and she was cited for harassment.</p><style>
