<p>BERWICK &#8212; Two men were arrested Friday for allegedly distributing heroin in the borough.</p><p>Police, working with the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General, arrested Tysean &#8220;Luda&#8221; Moronta and Zeth Paninski after issuing a search-and-seizure warrant at 1421 Spring Garden Ave.</p><p>Moronta and Paninski were immediately taken into police custody by Columbia &#8211; Montour County SWAT without incident.</p><p>According to police, as a result of the warrant a number of items consistent with heroin trafficking were located and seized, including 49 baggies of heroin, drug paraphernalia and $1,462. In addition 9mm ammunition, a .380 caliber magazine, a Diamond .223 caliber AR-style assault rifle and a fully loaded magazine were also recovered from inside the residence.</p><p>Police said the rifle was stolen from a residence on South Warren Street.</p><p>Moronta has a prior felony conviction, which prohibits him from possessing a firearm, police said. He was arrested and charged with two counts of possession, one count each of criminal conspiracy, receiving stolen property and prohibited possession of a firearm.</p><p>Paninski was arrested and charged with two counts of possession, criminal conspiracy and receiving stolen property.</p><p>Both men were arraigned in front of District Justice Richard Knecht.</p><p>Bail for Moronta was set at $150,000 straight cash, and bail for Paninski was set at $50,000 straight cash. Neither man posted bail and were subsequently lodged at the Columbia County Prison.</p><p>A preliminary hearing for Moronta and Paninski is scheduled for Oct. 19.</p><style>
