Penguins star Sidney Crosby diagnosed with concussion

<p>Detroit Lions defensive lineman Anthony Zettel didn&#8217;t record a tackle on Sunday, but he had a hand in the biggest play of the Lions&#8217; 24-23 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles.</p><p>After teammate Darius Slay forced a fumble in the closing minutes of the game with the Lions trailing 23-21, the Penn Stater was one of several players involved in the scramble for the ball. Zettel didn&#8217;t come up with the recovery, but he did manage to keep the ball from going out of bounds.</p><p>Thanks to Zettel, teammate Tryunn Walker was able to recover the fumble, setting up the Lions&#8217; game-winning field goal.</p><p>Philadelphia offensive lineman Stefen Wisniewski served as a reserve in the game.</p><p>Zettel wasn&#8217;t the only Nittany Lion to have a big impact despite not making a tackle.</p><p>Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker <a href="http://www.espn.com/blog/jacksonville-jaguars/post/_/id/19245/jaguars-lb-paul-posluszny-helps-out-a-neighbor-with-hurricane-preparations" target="_blank">Paul Posluszny took time out from his off week</a> and his own preparations for Hurricane Matthew to help out a neighbor, according to ESPN and other reports.</p><p>Posluszny helped his neighbor, Karen Adams, prepare her house for what was a Category 4 storm at the time. Adams posted photos of Posluszny installing hurricane shutters on her home on Facebook.</p><p>The Jaguars (1-3) are back in action next Sunday in Chicago.</p><p>Here&#8217;s how other Penn Staters fared in Week 5:</p><p>&#8226; San Diego Chargers cornerback Trevor Williams saw his first action of the season after being signed off the Chargers&#8217; practice squad on Friday. The Charges lost to the Oakland Raiders, 34-31. Williams, who did not make a tackle in the game, took Jason Verrett&#8217;s spot on the roster, who was placed on injured reserve last week. Oakland Raiders quarterback Matt McGloin served as the Raiders&#8217; backup quarterback.</p><p>&#8226; San Francisco linebacker Gerald Hodges, who has seen his playing time decline in the last few weeks, had one tackle in the 49ers&#8217; 33-21 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Hodges, after starting earlier in the season, was on the field for only 10 defensive snaps and 14 special teams plays. Center A.Q. Shipley started for the Cardinals.</p><p>&#8226; Houston Texans defensive lineman Devon Still was placed on injured reserve on Wednesday with a foot injury.</p><p>&#8226; Dallas Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee had 10 tackles, including five solo, as the Cowboys defeated the Cincinnati Bengals, 28-14. Defensive lineman Jack Crawford had two tackles, including one solo, and half a sack.</p><p>&#8226; Baltimore Ravens offensive guard John Urschel got his first start of the season in the Ravens&#8217; 16-10 loss to Washington.</p><p>&#8226; New England Patriots receiver Chris Hogan had four receptions for 114 yards, including a 63-yard catch, as the Patriots routed the Cleveland Browns, 33-13. Browns defensive end Carl Nassib, returning from a hand injury, did not record a tackle.</p><p>&#8226; Tennessee Titans defensive linemen Austin Johnson and DuQuan Jones each had a solo tackle as the Titans defeated the Miami Dolphins, 30-17. Dolphins defensive end Cameron Wake had two solo tackles, while Dolphins linebacker Mike Hull and defensive back Jordan Lucas were active but did not record a tackle.</p><p>&#8226; Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Jesse James had six receptions for 43 yards and a touchdown as the Steelers defeated the New York Jets, 31-13. New York Jets quarterback Christian Hackenberg was inactive for the game.</p><p>&#8226; Chicago Bears free safety Adrian Amos had four tackles, including three solo, and a half tackle for a loss in the Bears&#8217; 29-23 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Amos also forced a fumble.</p><p>&#8226; Denver Broncos wide receiver Jordan Norwood had two receptions for 24 yards as the defending champions lost to the Atlanta Falcons, 23-16. Norwood also had one punt return for 17 yards</p><p>&#8226; Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive lineman Donovan Smith was in action on Monday night against the Carolina Panthers.</p><style>
