GREENSBURG, Pa. (AP) — A bridge in western Pennsylvania has been named after a township police lieutenant killed in a wrong-way crash last year. The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review (http://bit.ly/2dKWwPw ) reports that the Lt. Eric Eslary Memorial Bridge in Ligonier Township carries Wilpen Road over Mill Creek near the village of Wilpen, where Eslary lived and grew up. Gov. Tom Wolf in July authorized the naming of the state-owned bridge in memory of the 40-year-old father of six, who used the bridge himself to drive to the Wilpen Volunteer Fire Department, where he was a member. Eslary was driving his patrol car when he was killed in a May 2015 crash with a commercial van on Route 30.
