<p>One of the men convicted of stabbing gay porn king Brian Kocis to death inside his Dallas Township home in 2007 granted a &#8220;chilling&#8221; jailhouse interview to a TV crime show that will air Wednesday afternoon.</p><p>&#8220;Crime Watch Daily with Chris Hansen&#8221; is airing interviews with Joseph Kerekes, an investigator and the prosecutor in the case, as well as the author of &#8220;Cobra Killer&#8221; &#8212; a book based on the murder that also inspired a soon-to-be-released movie, the show announced on Tuesday.</p><p>The episode, titled &#8220;Cobra Killer Interview: &#8216;We thought that we were gods&#8217;,&#8221; precedes the release of &#8220;King Cobra,&#8221; starring James Franco, who portrays Kerekes in the film.</p><p>Kerekes appears for the first time to confess that he had more involvement in the murder than he has previously let on, according to a news release.</p><p>Prosecutors say Harlow Cuadra and Kerekes killed Kocis because he was their rival in the gay pornography industry. Kerekes pleaded guilty to second degree murder and a jury convicted Harlow of first degree murder. Both were sentenced to life in prison.</p><p>&#8220;Though my hand did not swipe Kocis&#8217; neck physically, I did it in every other sense,&#8221; Kerekes told the interviewer. &#8220;I want (viewers) to realize the only mistake we made in our entire lives was deciding to personally end Kocis&#8217; life.&#8221;</p><p>&#8220;You know, I say personally because I don&#8217;t think it was a mistake to end his life,&#8221; Kerekes went on to say. &#8220;It was disgusting, he was, somebody that needed to be removed to further our business just like we had done a couple other times in the past, but it was done with other people, so I want people to realize that we turned a seedy disgusting business into something that was upstanding and professional and there&#8217;s a way to do this and be very, very successful.&#8221;</p><p>Others interviewed for the Crime Watch Daily episode are &#8220;Cobra Killer&#8221; author Andrew Stoner; former Luzerne County assistant district attorney Michael Melnick, the prosecutor in the case; and Dallas Township Assistant Police Chief Douglas Higgins, one of the investigators in the case.</p>
