<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; A woman was arrested for not appearing for her scheduled preliminary hearing, according to police.</p><p>Police said that at 1 p.m. on Oct. 8, Magisterial District Judge Alexandra Kokura-Kravitz conducted a preliminary arraignment for Jessica Griffiths on charges of aggravated assault and aggravated harassment. Griffiths was released on $25,000 unsecured bail, and was scheduled for a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Thomas Malloy on Thursday.</p><p>Griffiths allegedly failed to appear for the hearing, and a warrant was issued for her arrest.</p><p>Police said Griffiths called 911 at 12:25 a.m. Friday to turn herself in. Police found Griffiths at Wilkes-Barre Lodge on Kidder Street, and she was taken into custody.</p><style>
