<p>John Urschel earned his second start of the season at offensive guard for the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday as the Ravens fell to the New York Giants, 27-23.</p><p>But the Penn Stater received much more attention for something away from the field than he did for his play during the NFL&#8217;s Week 7.</p><p>A<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKR5L22wYKI" target="_blank"> commercial starring Urschel and Houston Texans defensive lineman J.J. Watt </a>has generated plenty of interest online.</p><p>In the spot, Urschel tries to explain to Watt just how Bose noise-canceling headphones work.</p><p>The 6-foot, 300-pound offensive lineman writes a complex formula on a white board, trying to show Watt the technology behind the devices. Watt simply turns on the noise-canceling feature of his headphones and ignores Urschel.</p><p>Urschel is probably the only player in the NFL able to explain the technology behind the headphones. While at Penn State, he earned bachelor&#8217;s and master&#8217;s degrees in match in just four years. He&#8217;s currently a Ph. D. candidate at MIT, and according to the Ravens&#8217; website, Urschel earned straight As in his first semester.</p><p>Urschel wasn&#8217;t the only Penn Stater in the NFL to draw some attention away from the field.</p><p>Oakland Raiders backup quarterback Matt McGloin showed up on last week&#8217;s <a href="http://www.pennlive.com/pennstatefootball/index.ssf/2016/10/updating_penn_states_recruitin.html" target="_blank">episode of WWE Raw</a>. McGloin was at the show with his teammates, but it was the Scranton native who brought along his own championship belt.</p><p>On Sunday, McGloin was back on the sidelines during the Raiders&#8217; 26-10 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Chiefs outside linebacker Tamba Hali had one tackle and recovered a fumble in the game. Chiefs tight end Ross Travis was inactive for the game.</p><p>Here&#8217;s how other Penn Staters fared in Week 6.</p><p>&#8226; San Francisco 49ers linebacker Gerald Hodges was active for the &#8216;Niners 45-16 loss to the Buffalo Bills but did not record a tackle.</p><p>&#8226; Denver Broncos wide receiver Jordan Norwood had 5 catches for 39 yards as the Broncos fell to the San Diego Charges, 21-13. Norwood also had two kickoff returns for 46 yards, including a long of 27, and two punt returns for 16 yards. Chargers defensive back Trevor Williams had one solo tackle.</p><p>&#8226; Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Stefen Wisniewski served as a reserve in the Eagles&#8217; 27-20 loss to Washington.</p><p>&#8226; Cleveland Browns defensive lineman Carl Nassib had one quarterback hit as the Browns fell to the Tennessee Titans, 28-26. Titans defensive linemen Austin Johnson and DaQuan Jones saw action but did not record any tackles.</p><p>&#8226; New Orleans Saints lineback Nate Stupar had six tackles, including three solo, as the Saints defeated the Carolina Panthers, 41-38. Saints linebacker Michael Mauti had one solo tackle.</p><p>&#8226; Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Paul Posluszny had 11 tackles, including 10 solo, and one tackle for a loss as the Jaguars defeated the Chicago Bears, 17-16. Jaguars defensive lineman Jared Odrick had three tackles, including two solo, while Jaguars wide receiver Allen Robins had three catches for 49 yards. Chicago Bears safety Adrian Amos had three tackles.</p><p>&#8226; Detroit Lions defensive lineman Anthony Zettel had four solo tackles as the Lions defeated the Los Angeles Rams, 31-28.</p><p>&#8226; Miami Dolphins defensive end Cameron Wake had two tackles, including one solo, a half sack and a quarterback hit as the Dolphins defeated the New York Giants, 30-15. Dolphins linebacker Mike Hull had two solo tackles, while Dolphins cornerback Jordan Lucas served as a reserve for the game. Steelers tight end Jesse James had two receptions for 13 yards.</p><p>&#8226; Seattle Seahawks offensive tackle Garry Gilliam was at his typical starting spot as the Seahawks defeated the Atlanta Falcons, 26-24.</p><p>&#8226; Dallas Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee had 12 tackles, including nine solo, as the Cowboys defeated the Green Bay Packers, 30-16. Cowboys defensive end Jack Crawford had two solo tackles.</p><p>&#8226; Arizona Cardinals center A.Q. Shipley was slated to be in action against the New York Jets on Monday night. Jets quarterback Christian Hackenberg was inactive for the game.</p><style>
