WVC Soccer: Dallas girls clinch Division 1 title

<p>After dropping its first match 20-25, Berwick responded by taking the next three matches 25-9, 25-20, 25-21 for the win victory Lake-Lehman in girls volleyball action on Monday.</p><p>Damaris Ayala finished with four aces, 15 service points, 39 assists, nine digs and three kills, while Elizabeth Plyler had eight kills and one block. Madelyn Pinterich recorded two aces, 14 service points, eight kills and 17 digs for Berwick (10-4).</p><p>Lake-Lehman&#8217;s Devin Lindley had six kills, seven digs and two aces, Ashley Herces had 11 assists and eight digs and</p><p>Hailey Kubishi finished with eight kills and six digs.</p><p><strong>MMIPrep 3, Wyoming Area 0</strong></p><p>MMI Prep swept Wyoming Area 25-23, 25-20, 25-20.</p><p>Lauryn Banyas finished with 21 assists, five kills, four digs and two aces, Gabby Kupsho chipped in with two assists, six digs and 13 service points and Maddie Perchak had four kills, one assist, eight digs and three service points.</p><p><strong>Meyers 3, Pittston Area 1</strong></p><p>D&#224;Nayia Ballard&#8217;s 18 kills and four service points led the charge in the Mohawks&#8217; 25-21, 21-25, 25-22, 25-22 win over Pittston Area.</p><p>Teammate Ezra Perez had 28 assists, nine service points and Alyssa Lane recorded five kills, nine digs and 16 service points in the victory.</p><p>Pittston Area was led by Portia Weidlich&#8217;s 12 service points, 10 kills and four aces, Kirsten Durling&#8217;s 18 assists, seven service points and six kills and Julia Emmet&#8217;s one ace and five service points.</p><p><strong>Tunkhannock 3 Hazleton Area 1</strong></p><p>Kayla Binner had 13 service points and five aces as the Tigers topped Hazleton Area 25-21, 25-16, 17-25, 25-23.</p><p>Angela Colbenson had six kills and Jenna Simmons finished with five kills.</p><p><strong>Wyoming Valley West 3, Coughlin 0</strong></p><p>Audi Welles&#8217; 24 service points, nine aces and four kills led the way in Valley West&#8217;s 25-17, 25-15, 25-10 win over Coughlin.</p><p>Sidney Scarcella finished with eight service points and five aces and Andi Blaski chipped in with 10 service points and six aces, while Gabby Labar added six service points and five aces to the victory.</p><p>Coughlin&#8217;s Mariely Herrera recorded two kills, two blocks, two aces and four service points and Mykayla Timek had five digs, eight aces and nine service points.</p><style>
