<p>SCRANTON &#8212; Vice President Joe Biden will accept an award at the Northeastern Pennsylvania Integrated Network Cancer Program&#8217;s (INCP) inaugural INCP Cancer Symposium and Reception on Friday. The announcement was made by Commonwealth Health and Delta Medix.</p><p>Biden will attend the reception to accept the Beau Biden Award, in recognition of the Cancer Moonshot Task Force and his effort to bring the nation&#8217;s medical resources together to change the way medical professionals approach cancer, both nationally and locally.</p><p>The INCP Cancer Reception will take place at 5 p.m. at The Commonwealth Medical College. Sen. Bob Casey will present the Beau Biden Award on behalf of INCP.</p><p>The event will also feature a Cancer Symposium focusing on an &#8220;Update in Bladder Cancer&#8221; from noon until 2:30 p.m. at Commonwealth Medical College. Featured speakers will include medical professionals from Delta Medix, Regional Hospital of Scranton, Moses Taylor Hospital, Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, Sidney Kimmel Medical College and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.</p><style>
