<p>Dr. Robin Field, associate professor of English and director of Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching at King&#8217;s College, was recently named a Fellow of the 2016 National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Summer Seminar, titled &#8220;Exploring American Democracy with Alexis de Tocqueville as Guide,&#8221; held at the University of Virginia.</p><p>In addition, Field co-edited the June 2016 issue on &#8220;New Directions in South Asian Canadian Literature and Culture&#8221; in the academic journal &#8220;South Asian Review.&#8221;</p><p>A faculty member at King&#8217;s since 2006, Field earned a bachelor&#8217;s degree from Cornell University and a doctorate from the University of Virginia.</p><style>
