WILKES-BARRE - MotorWorld Auto Group proudly supports the Luzerne County Down Syndrome Network&#8217;s 12th annual Buddy Walk with a $400 donation to purchase an iPad mini that will be raffled off at the walk.All monies raised from the Buddy Walk, which will take place on Sunday, at Kirby Park in Wilkes-Barre, stay in Luzerne County and are used to fund many activities throughout the year. The Luzerne County Down Syndrome Network Fund is affiliated with The Luzerne Foundation, a non-profit Pennsylvania 501c3 public charity.The Buddy Walk was developed by the National Down Syndrome Society in 1995 to promote awareness and inclusion for people with Down syndrome and to raise money for research and education programs.
