Man accused assaulting two, stealing shoes off man’s feet

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Vice President and Scranton native Joe Biden is coming to Wilkes University on Friday afternoon to campaign for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, according to Clinton&#8217;s official website.</p><p>The event will be held at 3:30 p.m. at University Center on Main Street, 169 S. Main St., Wilkes-Barre. Doors will open at 1:45 p.m.</p><p>&#8220;Vice President Biden will lay out the high stakes of November&#8217;s election for Pennsylvania families and highlight Clinton&#8217;s vision for an America that is stronger together, with an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top,&#8221; according to the website.</p><p>Members of the public interested in attending the event can sign up at <a href="https://www.hillaryclinton.com/events/view/ES7FBVMJHVTCJ3VN/" target="_blank">Clinton&#8217;s campaign website.</a></p><style>
