Letter to the Editor: Choose life; vote for presidential contender Donald Trump

<p>If presidential candidate Donald Trump has his way, America will need to import fruits and vegetables.</p><p>According to a report by CNN, much of our nation&#8217;s ripe produce is rotting on the vines and trees for lack of labor. And there is hunger in America. A large number of harvesters are illegal migrant workers who will face deportation. Whites do not apply for these jobs that pay between $12 to $13 per hour, according to labor statistics.</p><p>Many parents and grandparents of the baby boomers came to this country through Ellis Island and were successful with establishing small businesses. They added to the U.S economy. These people were greeted by Lady Liberty, whose message has been &#8220;Give me your tired and poor.&#8221;</p><p>However, instead of lifting the torch high, it would seem more appropriate, under Trump politics, for her to flip the middle finger to the masses.
