Harveys Lake General Federation of Women&#8217;s Club is holding its annual raffle Thursday, Dec. 1. Ticket sales for the drawing can be purchased by calling 610-256-9660.For over sixty-years the GFWC, Harveys Lake, has supported many community projects in the Back Mountain including scholarships for top students, food banks, holiday cheer baskets for the elderly, Ruth&#8217;s Place, VA Medical Center garden, as well as local events such as Meadows n the Pond, Luzerne County Fair and the library auction.This is made possible by generous donations to the annual raffle. We thank the more than 6o businesses and merchants in the Back Mountain who have contributed prizes this year.
