Thomas’ Market donates to local causes

<p>Gently used adult and children&#8217;s winter coats, hats, gloves and scarves are needed for the Greater Pittston Food Pantry and The Knitting Ministry&#8217;s eighth annual Christmas Turkey and Trimmings giveaway. Donations can be dropped off 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at St. John the Evangelist Parish Center, 35 William St. and will be available to registered low income households of the food pantry Wednesday, Dec. 21, during the eighth annual giveaway. No suits, clothing or shoes will be accepted. For more information call the food pantry at 570-654-9923.
