Letter to the Editor: Republican Party’s policy of obstructionism not good for nation

<p>Citizens, are you afraid America&#8217;s greatness might be gone forever?</p><p>The past eight years have been a disaster because of radical ideology. The Obama administration is the most secret, corrupt organization ever in the United States. Many Republicans and conservatives have failed to fight back.</p><p>If you work for a living or if you are retired, are you worried about losing your job or pension? Do you own a business that might be forced to close or downsize because of the crushing financial mandates by Obamacare regulations and high taxes? </p><p>If you own a gun, you are demonized in the news media and by many liberal politicians after every murder or terrorist attack. They call for more gun control. Watch what these hypocrites do. President Barack Obama and businessman Michael Bloomberg constantly are protected by armed bodyguards. U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein introduced legislation to ban many weapons, while exempting weapons carried by government officials. She has had a concealed carry permit.</p><p>If you believe all Americans should be treated equally, you will be called a racist, a sexist or other unmentionables. If you believe immigrants should assimilate to American culture and language, you are called an extremist. If you ever say illegal immigrants should be deported, you are called a bigot.</p><p>Our tyrannical government now says that equal opportunity is no longer the goal. It is equal outcomes for all groups, to be ensured by quotas and favoritism in college admissions, hiring decisions and government grants. </p><p>With the debt at $20 trillion and climbing, our jobs will continue to be sent overseas. The unemployment rate will increase until the great collapse of the dollar. Culture and freedoms will disappear like a raindrop exposed to the sun.</p><p>This is why I will vote for change instead of voting for a career politician who has never run a business or met a payroll.</p><p><strong> Joseph L.
