‘Whose Wives Are They Anyway?’ opens Nov. 10 at King’s College

<p>HAZLETON &#8212; Two men were arrested on Thursday, after members of the New York Police Department, Manhattan Warrant Division, travelled to Hazleton, informing city police that they believed a fugitive from justice with four open firearm complaints and allegedly armed and dangerous was in the area.</p><p>New York City police said Taj Fisher, operating a Ford with Virginia license plates, was believed to be in the city.</p><p>The vehicle was located in the area of 121-123 Church Street and the Hazleton SWAT team was activated and set up surveillance of the area for four hours.</p><p>At about 12:30 p.m., Fisher exited the location and police moved in and arrested him without incident.</p><p>Fisher was in possession of numerous baggies of marijuana packaged for distribution, approximately 100 Xanax pills and 10 grams of crack cocaine, according to police.</p><p>Additionally, a co-defendant, identified as Juan Marrero, wanted on a local summary warrant for harassment was also arrested on the scene.</p><p>Police said Marrero was found to be in possession of two xanax pills.</p><p>Pursuant to a consent to search of the residence, a loaded 45 caliber Glock was recovered and determined to be stolen.</p><p>The investigation into the firearm is ongoing, police said.</p><p>According to police, Fisher will be extradited to New York City.</p><p>Police said both would be arraigned before District Judge Joseph Zola.</p><style>
